Berlin Stewart was down on his luck. Unemployed and having to move back in with his parents in his late 20s, after reaching financial independence, sent his world spiraling downward.
"You're used to working everyday and then one day, your job says it's closing," he said.
That closing caused Stewart to search for employment over the next decade, working jobs that avowed no future, but he did whatever he had to do to make ends meet.
"I worked in the shipping and receiving department for a warehouse that was in bad shape," Stewart proclaimed.
"I came in and fixed things up and then they laid me off after seven months."
And it continued.
