NSW: Woman dies in Sydney townhouse blaze
A woman in her 50s has died after being dragged unconscious from a burning townhousein Sydney's south-west.
Firefighters were called to the blaze in Montana Way, Macquarie Fields, shortly after7.30 pm (AEST) last night where they found the townhouse on fire.
The New South Wales Fire Brigades says firefighters using breathing equipment foundthe unconscious woman inside a doorway.
Ambulance crews on the scene tried to resuscitate the woman outside the building, butshe died a short time later from her injuries.
